On 16 March, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Ms. Tulia Ackson, President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, visiting Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the development of cooperation between the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, currently chaired by Azerbaijan, and the Inter-Parliamentary Union, emphasizing the importance of strengthening coordination and dialogue between inter-parliamentary platforms in addressing common global challenges.
