On 11 February, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Yamahi, President of the Arab Parliament, visiting Azerbaijan.

On 29 January, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Sheikh Abdulmalik Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council of the Sultanate of Oman, within the framework of her official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

On 29 January, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council of the Sultanate of Oman, within the framework of her official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

On 27 January, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network delivered a speech at the 2nd Session of the Women Parliamentary Forum of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean on the theme “Empowering Women for Cohesive and Inclusive Societies: From the Gulf to the Mediterranean”, held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

On 27 January, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Giulio Centemero, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, within the framework of participation in the Second Session of the PAM Women Parliamentary Forum, held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

On 26 January, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network delivered a speech at the 16th Plenary Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.
