Meeting at the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the delegation of the National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela

On June 29, Mr. Ali Huseynli, the First Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with the delegation led by Ms. Vanesa Yuneth Montero Lopez, Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the Baku Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network.

Mr. Huseynli greeted the guests and expressed his appreciation for the visit of the Venezuelan delegation to Azerbaijan to participate in the Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network. He pointed out that Azerbaijan has chaired the Non-Aligned Movement since 2019 and expressed gratitude for Venezuela's support to our country in this organization. Mr. Huseynli conveyed confidence that our countries would cooperate effectively within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network and spoke about the importance of expanding relations at the parliamentary level.

Ms. Vanesa Yuneth Montero Lopez, Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, expressed her gratefulness for the sincere meeting and hospitality. She stated that the delegations of Azerbaijan and Venezuela cooperate effectively within the framework of international organizations such as the UN and the Non-Aligned Movement.

During the conversation, views were exchanged on the directions of future development of inter-parliamentary relations and other issues.
