Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Ahmed Metani, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Azerbaijan

On 03 September, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Ahmed Metani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine to Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on cooperation within international parliamentary mechanisms, with special reference to the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network as an effective platform for dialogue and coordinated positions. The role of the NAM PN in fostering parliamentary engagement and advancing issues of common concern was underscored.

The meeting concluded with a discussion of other matters of mutual interest, reaffirming the importance of continued cooperation within the framework of the NAM PN.
