Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr Hanafy Gibaly, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt

On February 08, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr Hanafy Gibaly, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt, within the framework of the official visit to Egypt.

Mr Hanafy Gibaly, Speaker of the House of Representatives, warmly greeted Ms. Sahiba Gafarova. Speaker of the House of Representatives praised the activities of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network and expressed that they highly appreciate the establishment of initiative and the done work. Mr Hanafy Gibaly said that the Parliament of Egypt considers itself an integral part of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network. 

Ms. Sahiba Gafarova expressed her appreciation for the extended cordial hospitality. Chairperson spoke about the recent activities of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network and taken institutional measures for development as an efficient interparliamentary cooperation platform.

At the meeting, ideas were exchanged on further expansion of parliamentary diplomacy within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network.
