Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Ahmad bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

On 05 April, during the meeting Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network and Mr. Ahmad bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives of the Kingdom of Bahrain expressed satisfaction with cooperation within diferent international organizations, including the Non-Aligned Movement and its Parliamentary Network, highlighted Azerbaijan's leadership in the NAM. The potential for deepening parliamentary cooperation within the NAM PN was emphasised.

Both parties acknowledged further deepening of the collaboration within the NAM PN and expressed confidence in the success of its upcoming Conference in Tashkent.

The Speaker of the Council of Representatives of the Kingdom of Bahrain expressed support for Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the Parliamentary Network. Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
