Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairperson of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Bahrain

On 25 January, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairperson of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Bahrain, within the framework of her official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain and participation in the 16^th Plenary Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, held in Manama.

During the meeting, the importance of cooperation within international and regional organizations was highlighted, with particular emphasis on the NAM PN. The parties expressed satisfaction with the positive cooperation and mutual support demonstrated within this framework.

Ms. Sahiba Gafarova recalled with pleasure her previous meetings with Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, as well as his participation in the NAM PN Conference held in Manama. It was emphasized that the Parliament of Bahrain actively participates in all conferences and parliamentary events of the NAM PN.

The meeting underscored the role of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network as an important platform for strengthening parliamentary dialogue, cooperation, and solidarity among member states.
