Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Lungten Dorji, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Bhutan

On 20 February, during the meeting both Speakers emphasized their shared commitment to global peace and stability, acknowledging the critical importance of fostering international cooperation to address global challenges.

They expressed a mutual desire for more active cooperation, particularly within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network. They highlighted the role of NAM PN in promoting dialogue and collaboration among member countries, and emphasized its potential to further strengthen inter-parliamentary ties, promote peaceful initiatives, and enhance global stability.
