Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Mohamed Ali Houmed, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Djibouti

On July 1, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network met with Mr. Mohamed Ali Houmed, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Djibouti and President of the Executive Committee of the African Parliamentary Union, visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the organization's Baku Conference.

Ms. Sahiba Gafarova expressed the pleasure to welcome the Speaker of the National Assembly of Djibouti to Azerbaijan and voiced her appreciation for accepting the invitation to participate in this important event organized by Azerbaijan.

Conveying his gratitude for the invitation to visit Azerbaijan, Mr. Mohamed Ali Houmed, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Djibouti, spoke of the importance of the Baku Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network. He noted that Azerbaijan was a valuable member of this organization and expressed his gratitude for the organization of the event at a high level. The guest greatly valued the participation and speech by H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the event.

During the meeting, opinions were exchanged on other issues as well.
