Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Rashid Talbi El Alami, President of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Morocco

On May 16, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Rashid Talbi El Alami, President of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Morocco, during his visit to Azerbaijan in the framework of the Special Session of the Milli Majlis dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

Ms. Sahiba Gafarova thanked Mr. Rashid Talbi El Alami for his participation in the Special Session of the Milli Majlis and praised Morocco’s active participation in the events of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, established on the initiative of H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and incumbent Chair of the Non-Aligned Movement.

Mr. Rashid Talbi El Alami, President of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Morocco, thanked for the invitation to the Special Session of the Milli Majlis and expressed that the Morocco is interested in expanding cooperation within the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network.

At the meeting, the Speakers had exchange of opinions on various topics of mutual interest.
