Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Saysana Kotputan, the Prosecutor General of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic

On 23 September, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with a delegation led by Mr. Saysana Kotputan, the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People’s Prosecutor’s Office of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, visiting Azerbaijan.

Particular attention was given to cooperation within international parliamentary platforms, including the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network. It was emphasized that parliaments engage constructively within the NAM PN, which serves as an important platform for dialogue, coordination, and the strengthening of solidarity among member states.

The discussion underscored the role of the NAM PN in fostering closer interaction among parliaments of the Non-Aligned Movement and contributing to the exchange of views on issues of common interest.
