Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Sidi Mohamed Ould Er-Rachid, Speaker of the House of Councillors of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Morocco

On 16 April, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Sidi Mohamed Ould Er-Rachid, Speaker of the House of Councillors of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Morocco within the framework of the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) held in Istanbul.

It was noted during the meeting that interparliamentary relations are an important tool in the development of bilateral relations. The Speakers also underlined the role of platforms such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement in terms of interparliamentary cooperation, and noted the importance of strengthening mutual activity and coordination within this framework.
