Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Sot Vong, Vice President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia

On 29 October, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Sot Vong, Vice President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

During the meeting, the importance of cooperation within international parliamentary organizations was emphasized, with particular attention given to the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network. It was noted that the NAM PN serves as an effective platform for strengthening dialogue, solidarity, and cooperation among participating parliaments.

The parties highlighted the value of Cambodia’s engagement in multilateral parliamentary formats and underlined the role of the NAM PN in fostering closer ties, mutual understanding, and coordinated parliamentary efforts on issues of shared interest.
