Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Tan Sri Dato Johari Bin Abdul, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Malaysia

On 19 September, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova met with Mr. Tan Sri Dato Johari Bin Abdul, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Malaysia, within the framework of participation in the 46th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Ms. Sahiba Gafarova highlighted the importance of the NAM PN as an inclusive platform that brings together parliaments from different regions and contributes to strengthening dialogue, solidarity, and coordinated parliamentary action. She underlined that cooperation within the NAM PN creates additional opportunities for enhancing multilateral parliamentary interaction and advancing shared interests.

During the conversation, satisfaction was expressed with the cooperation within international organizations, with particular emphasis placed on the broad opportunities for joint activities within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network.
