Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam

On 08 May, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, within the framework of his official visit to Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova noted that there are favorable opportunities for further strengthening parliamentary cooperation within key international platforms and expressed confidence that Vietnamese parliamentarians would take a more active part in the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, which serves as an important mechanism for dialogue, solidarity, and cooperation among member states.

The meeting underscored the significance of enhancing engagement within the NAM PN as a means of deepening mutual understanding, expanding cooperation, and supporting shared positions on international issues of common interest.
