Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Vladislav Tatarinovich, Deputy Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus

On 29 October, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Vladislav Tatarinovich, Deputy Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, visiting Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the activities of the NAM PN, established at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, were highly appreciated. It was noted that the Network has become an important platform for strengthening parliamentary dialogue and cooperation among participating states.

The positive assessment focused in particular on the role of the NAM PN in enhancing multilateral engagement, as well as on its growing institutional capacity and international visibility. The importance of continued interaction within the framework of the NAM PN was underlined as a meaningful contribution to parliamentary diplomacy.
