Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Ms. America Valentina Perez Davila, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela

On 03 April, during the meeting, both sides highlighted the strong cooperation between Azerbaijan and Venezuela within the framework of international organizations emphasizing the productive collaboration within the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), and expressed satisfaction with the mutual support provided in these platforms. Venezuela's support for Azerbaijan's initiatives during its NAM chairmanship was particularly noted.

The importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation and active engagement in strengthening  the work of the NAM Parliamentary Network was also discussed. Ms. Gafarova shared updates on the institutional development of the NAM Parliamentary Network, while Ms. Perez Davila praised its work and reaffirmed Venezuela's active participation.
