Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council of the Sultanate of Oman

On 29 January, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council of the Sultanate of Oman, within the framework of her official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

During the meeting, the importance of cooperation within international and regional organizations was highlighted. It was emphasized that inter-parliamentary interaction makes a significant contribution to bilateral and multilateral relations and the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement serves as important platform in this area.

The meeting underscored the role of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network as an important platform for strengthening parliamentary dialogue, cooperation, and solidarity.
