Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with the speakers of the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Parliament of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

On July 1, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network met with Mr. Abdulkarim Dughmi, Chairman of the House of Representatives, and Mr. Faisal Al-Fayez, President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the organization's Baku Conference.
Ms Sahiba Gafarova greeted the guests and expressed her gratitude for their participation in the Baku Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network.
The Chairperson noted the importance of Jordan's participation in the Baku Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, as well as the discussions held within the conference. The Speaker of the Milli Majlis spoke about the significance of the speech given by H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, during the opening ceremony of the Conference.
Mr. Abdulkarim Dughmi, Chairman of the House of Representatives, and Mr. Faisal Al-Fayez, President of the Senate of the Parliament, expressed their gratitude for the cordial meeting and hospitality. The guests expressed their gratification in the participation at the Baku Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network and added that the conference was organized at a high level.
The guests emphasized the vital role of Azerbaijan in the Non-Aligned Movement. They underlined the importance of the initiative taken by our country on the establishment of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, as well as the issues discussed within the framework of the Baku Conference.
During the meeting, the parties shared their views on eliminating the consequences caused by regional conflicts, the means of solving refugee and migration problems, and other issues of mutual concern.
