Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with Mr. Asad Qaiser, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

On November 28, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in the framework of her visit to Spain, met with Mr. Asad Qaiser, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

At the meeting, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova sincerely greeted the head of the Pakistani parliament and expressed her gratitude to Mr. Asad Qaiser for the support provided by the National Assembly of Pakistan to Azerbaijan's initiative to establish the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network.

Mr. Asad Qaiser expressed his satisfaction with the current level of relations between the two countries and pointed out the great potential for expanding comprehensive cooperation in the future. He mentioned that inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries were developing in an upward direction. Mr. Asad Qaiser expressed his acknowledgement regarding the establishment of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network.

During the meeting, the directions of the future development of inter-parliamentary relations and other issues were also discussed.
