Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Berlian Helmi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Azerbaijan

On 10 June, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, received Mr. Berlian Helmi, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Azerbaijan.

During the conversation, a positive cooperation within Non-Aligned Movement was noted. Speaker Sahiba Gafarova stated that Indonesia actively participates in the work of the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement, established at the initiative of President of Azerbaijan H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

The role of the NAM PN in fostering parliamentary engagement and advancing issues of common concern was underscored.

The meeting concluded with a discussion of other matters of mutual interest, reaffirming the importance of continued cooperation within the framework of the NAM PN.
