Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Ms. Margarida Talapa Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Mozambique

On 23 June, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Ms. Margarida Talapa, Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Mozambique, who was visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the 20th Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Member States.

Speaker Sahiba Gafarova noted the importance of cooperation and mutual support between the two countries and their parliaments within international organisations. She provided information about the activities of the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement, established at the initiative of President of Azerbaijan H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

During the conversation, satisfaction was expressed with the cooperation within international organizations, with particular emphasis placed on the broad opportunities for joint activities within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network.
