Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Sultan Saeed Al-Barakani, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Yemen

On 23 June, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Sultan Saeed Al-Barakani, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Yemen, who was visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the 20th Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Member States.

Speaker Sahiba Gafarova provided information about the work carried out during Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement, established at the initiative of President of Azerbaijan H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between the two parliaments within international parliamentary organisations, including the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement.
