On March 23, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Abbas Chernor Bundu, Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Sierra Leone, on the margins of the 148th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union held in Geneva.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network and the Inter-Parliamentary Union on the margins of the 148th Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly in Geneva on March 22, 2024.

On February 23, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Ms. Hamda bint Hassan Al-Sulaiti, Deputy Speaker of the Consultative Assembly of the State of Qatar, during her visit to Azerbaijan in the framework of the 14th Plenary Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.

On February 23, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Mahinda Yapa Abeywarden, Chairman of the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, in the framework the 14th Plenary Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly held in Azerbaijan.

On February 22, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Mohsen Ali Akbar Al-Mandalawi, First Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives of the Republic of Iraq, during his visit to Azerbaijan in the framework of the 14th Plenary Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.
