On 18 November, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, emphasized that NAM PN serves as an essential forum for addressing global challenges, with particular attention to the needs of developing and small island states. She stressed that NAM PN's role in promoting dialogue and cooperation between countries from diverse regions is vital for achieving collective solutions to the challenges posed by climate change, which was a central topic during the COP29 discussions.

On 14 October, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network and Mr. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Chairman of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran discussed the ongoing inter-parliamentary cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran, emphasizing the importance of strengthening ties within NAM PN.

On 12 July, during her working visit to St. Petersburg, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, discussed the activities of the NAM PN with both Ms. Natalya Kochanova, Chairwoman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, and Mr. Agegnehu Teshager, Speaker of the House of Federation of Ethiopia.

On 11 June, during official visit to Belarus, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, highlighted the importance of strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation through NAM PN, emphasizing the platform's role in fostering stronger ties between member countries.

On 29 May, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, informed her counterparts about Azerbaijan’s ongoing efforts in advancing the goals of NAM PN, particularly in the areas of institutional development and the strengthening of solidarity among member countries. Ms. Sahiba Gafarova discussed how NAM PN has contributed to amplifying the voices of small developing island states and the global community's support for such initiatives.

On May 14, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Seah Kian Peng, Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Singapore, within the framework of the official visit to Singapore.
