On September 8, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Duarte Pacheco, President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), within the framework of her participation in the 14th Summit of Women Speakers of Parliament held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

On July 2, the participants of the Baku Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network visited Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan. On July 1, Mr. Fazail Ibrahimli, Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with the delegation led Mr. Mardani Ali Sera, Vice Chairperson of the House Committee for Inter-parliamentary Cooperation of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the Baku Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network.
