On 05 April, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Chung Eui-yong, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).

On 04 April, within the framework of a working visit of Ms. Gafarova to Tashkent, the meeting between NAM PN Chairpesron and IPU Secretary General focused on strengthening cooperation between the NAM PN and the IPU.

Venezuela's support for Azerbaijan's initiatives during its NAM chairmanship was particularly noted.

On 21 February, the discussion highlighted the strong and fruitful cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates within various international parliamentary organizations, with a particular focus on the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network.
